7-12 Life Skills and Community Building - MW $280 - Learning with Literature - Sam Saul

This class allows students to have fun and explore their personal interests by developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to thrive at home, at school, and in the community. In addition to active practice in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, students will explore important skills in areas such as cooking/meal planning, gardening, crafting, mindfulness, healthy habits, study skills, community service, leadership, first aid, time management, organization, and goal setting. Studens will be enocougarged to practice their interests in entrepreneurial ways. They will have in class time to develop, design, and create a marketable service or product.
