We will also cover Westward expansion and its effects on California including the Gold rush and Railroads, California Statehood, immigration, all the way through the Great Depression and World War II. The course will finish with the rise of industry in California and its cultural developments. In addition, this class will provide songs, music and hands on activities to help students remember classroom concepts and make history alive.
