Wild Innovators
In this hands-on, adventure-filled course, students in grades 3–6 will explore the exciting intersection of engineering and the natural world. From designing survival shelters to studying real-world engineering marvels from around the globe, students will engage in creative challenges that build both wilderness preparedness and essential engineering skills.
Throughout the course, students will investigate how nature and human innovation work together, learning from incredible feats of engineering—both ancient and modern. Along the way, they’ll develop problem-solving abilities, communication skills, teamwork, and resilience, all while applying design thinking to real-world scenarios.
Whether building tools for survival or studying eco-friendly innovations, students will gain a deeper understanding of both ecology and engineering excellence. Perfect for curious minds who love to build, explore, and think outside the box!
