Let’s get lost in the halls of the world’s most famous museums and adventure our way through
understanding and getting to know the world’s greatest art! Night at the Museum is an art
project-based class where we’ll embark on a captivating journey through renowned galleries
such as the Louvre, the British Museum, the Vatican Museums, and the Guggenheim. As we
explore these iconic collections, we’ll uncover masterpieces from ancient to contemporary art,
delving into the rich history, culture, and stories behind each work.
Each week, we’ll virtually “visit” a different museum, where we’ll study and discuss the
techniques, themes, and significance of the art. Through interactive discussions, you'll deepen
your understanding of the artists, their inspirations, and the cultural impact of their work.
After each exploration, it’s time for you to create! Using the inspiration from what you've
discovered, you’ll work on your own art projects—whether through drawing, painting, sculpture,
or digital mediums. This class is designed to spark your creativity as you channel the essence of
the masterpieces you study into your own unique art.
Night at the Museum offers an exciting and hands-on approach to art, blending the thrill of
global exploration with the joy of artistic creation. If you're ready to embark on an adventure
through world-famous museums and then bring your own artistic vision to life, this course is for
you!
