Description

Welcome to the Engineering Challenge, where 5th through 8th grade students are invited to unleash their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork abilities! In this dynamic and hands-on course, participants will tackle real-world problems and embark on exciting engineering projects.

Throughout the program, students will work in groups to identify, design, and construct innovative solutions to a variety of engineering challenges. From building structures capable of withstanding earthquakes to designing devices for renewable energy generation, each project will push students to think critically, experiment boldly, and collaborate effectively with their peers.

Guided by experienced instructors and equipped with a wide array of materials and tools, students will engage in the engineering design process, from brainstorming and prototyping to testing and iteration. Through trial and error, students will learn to overcome obstacles, adapt their designs, and ultimately achieve success.

As they tackle each challenge, students will not only develop technical skills in areas such as mechanics, electronics, and materials science but also cultivate essential 21st-century competencies such as communication, problem-solving, and resilience. Whether aspiring to be future engineers or simply eager to explore the world of STEM, the Engineering Challenge offers a thrilling and rewarding experience for all participants. Join us as we embark on an exciting journey of innovation, discovery, and engineering excellence!
